  • Compact version of the ChargeLOG solution, suitable for installations having limited space.
    The Wallbox offers the same software functionalities and identical touchscreen, but does not have the possibility for additional hardware options.

  • Charging Quotas for EV Vehicles

    ChargeLOG allows setting charging quotas for electric vehicles in kWh, minutes, or usage instances (activations), applicable to all “CHARGING” type products. This uniform system simplifies EV charging management across various platforms, although it doesn’t distinguish between charging types like fast charging. This ensures a consistent approach in EV charging management.

    Charging Periods for EV Chargers

    The terminal’s “Period Authorized” feature for EV chargers maximizes efficiency by enforcing pre-set charging schedules. Charging outside these timeframes is automatically terminated, ensuring adherence to designated periods. Additionally, the system offers delayed activation periods, with charging sessions starting only in specified periods, allowing for unique scheduling per charger to meet diverse site needs.

  • ChargeLOG features smart charging to optimize EV charger power management based on available energy. It includes individual charger power limits, group charging limits, and delayed sessions. The system focuses on automating and enhancing charging efficiency, notably through load balancing, which distributes power among vehicles, ensuring effective use of energy and maintaining system performance.

  • ChargeLOG’s feature ‘Simultaneous Services Limitation’ manages the number of concurrent charging sessions, especially in areas with limited power capacity. It queues new charges when the set limit is reached, activating them as slots become available. This ensures efficient power distribution and prevents overloading the electrical system.

  • Deactivation on Low Charge Rate: ChargeLOG can terminate a charging session if the charge rate falls below a configurable minimum value. This feature is particularly useful in preventing inefficiencies, such as prolonged charging times when the battery level is already at high level (above 90%). It ensures optimal usage of charging resources and time.

    Minimal Final Battery Load: ChargeLOG can be programmed to issue an alert if a charging session is stopped before the EV’s battery reaches a pre-defined minimum level, for example, 80%. This safeguard ensures that vehicles have adequate charge for their intended use.

    Minimal Load Increase: ChargeLOG allows the setting of minimum thresholds for both the battery charge rate and final battery load. This capability is designed to prevent unnecessarily long charging sessions and ensure a sufficient charge level is achieved. An alert is triggered if a charging session ends before these minimum criteria are met.

    Maximum Duration: To avoid excessively prolonged or forgotten charging sessions, ChargeLOG implements a cap on the maximum duration of a single charging session. This limit helps in maintaining efficient utilization of the charging station.

    Charging Period: ChargeLOG allows the definition of specific periods (e.g., ‘Nighttime’) during which EV charging is permitted. This function can optimize energy usage and costs, particularly if it aligns with off-peak electricity hours or operational requirements.

  • LOGmaster captures essential EV transaction data like date, time, and vehicle ID, along with EV-specific details like kWh quantity, consumption metrics, and session duration. It offers advanced monitoring through reference consumption values and enables comprehensive analysis with detailed reports in formats like Excel and PDF. These reports include charging frequency per vehicle and electricity consumption, crucial for optimizing charging strategies and energy management.

  • To start EV charging, users have the option of using a ChargeLOG terminal or an EV charger’s tag reader. The ChargeLOG terminal always controls activation, even when using the charger’s reader. The same tag works for both, if compatible. Remote activation and deactivation are possible via LOGmaster, with terminal confirmation required. Charging sessions, while not monitored under MID, are recorded with EV-specific data for tracking, similar to fuel transactions.

  • The ChargeLOG terminal ensures continuous operation, even without an internet connection, by performing local backups and securely storing transaction data. It remains fully functional offline and auto-syncs with LOG2host upon reconnection. This system guarantees data integrity and keeps the terminal updated. ChargeLOG’s local backup system further ensures reliable, uninterrupted operation, automatically updating the cloud when the connection is restored, crucial for continuous charging infrastructure operations.
